In RDG's 38th game & 31st in league, Kadan Young became the 43rd player to play for #ReadingFC this season & 30th to start in the league. Despite having >10 games left & being on pace for least # of league starting 11s, those are both team highs for the last 7 seasons (when I started tracking).

Yeah, good q, the move generally combines Fraser going lower and pushing another higher, and I question if it isn't a matter of being unpracticed with one another, forcing entire mid to think what to do instead of act quicker. (Tho today the issue was literally him just giving ball away.)

Conceded 10 goals over 5 games, and in 1 game the other team scored 0. And we're taking about playoffs?

Correlation isn't causation, but is it good if the opponent scores a goal within 5 mins of you coming on in 3 of your last 4 apps? Should the manager maybe try a different def move?

#ReadingFC pass/touch thru December and the [POY]nts table, where Wing's start (11 pts in 1st 11 games) is making it hard for everyone else to catch him. Marriott is only one near his avg, but he'll need Wing to fall off to catch the captain (& have to stay playing himself). DW has 3rd highest avg.

Quite probable that I'm reading this too much from my own sad shock at the move, but that 2nd to last sentence makes it sound much more like we gave up on her than the mutual termination the club announced. Regardless... *sigh*.

I do not like the Current's offseason so far. Very sad to see Pfeiffer go. Signed a few other youth, but none in attack, a backup gk, & added no pace. I guess Armas will still fill out a staff, but as is, we've added a male gm & male head coach to our male sporting director. Ugh. Nonplussed.

My dream no one will go for: A variable playoff of no more than 8 teams. Only conference champs. Playoff committee meets once. If they deem just 2 deserving of a shot that year, just 2 play. If it's 3, if it's 5, 6, same deal. This year, Georgia v Texas Tech for the shot to take on Indiana.

The biggest difference between these teams is that Tigres is looking to shoot on goal where the Current are looking for the best shot on goal. KC have to adopt more of the former. Much more. #KCBaby

Great play from Pfeiffer setting up that goal. She's so important to next season for the Current imo. Very happy she's getting these minutes in this format with freedom to just attack and attack. #KCBaby

Can you clarify what goes into that number? Trying to reconcile that with Sporting having played 10 of their 34 MLS regular season games over May and June, and 2 more in what I assume would have been "early July," when there will be no regular season games then on the new calendar.

Never used Wheeler or Pfeiffer into space. Could've flipped his back 3 in possession and kept Izzy back for Wheels to get forward w Hopkins closer to Bia and Sentnor in that right central mid space. Just disjointed. After Bia, just looked like hoping for pens. Which is bad strategy.

Imo, Vlatko got extra time all wrong. Didn't continue momentum from reg, sought to calm things down & get back in shape. Moved Hopkins back wide so Bia was lone target again, focus of GOT. Then kept Hopkins wide after Bia hurt. Had no one to get on a ball, couldn't get out of our half. Sigh. #KCBaby

Hopefully can use Wheeler (!!!) more in extra time getting behind with her pace and letting Hopkins stay toward the middle so Bia can feed her in (assuming this ref doesn't send Bia off) #KCBaby

Was a huge issue. Though not as huge of an issue as the return of what it don't want to call playoffs Sharples. Ball was great before having to go off. #KCBaby

Cooper out is a huge blow. Could also make Prince's goal last week even more huge. The Current have had issues all season any time a share of goal creation had to shift to Prince. If getting hot in front of goal is a real thing, and if last week did that for Prince, it would be a great boon. #KCBaby
