When you write, you don’t write something once.
You write it five times, sometimes more.
Once for content.
Again for tone.
Again for your audience.
Again for proofreading.
Again for the edit that inevitably follows.
Then repeat.
Eventually you get there.

Absolutely agree.

I believe the main lesson we can learn from thinkers such as Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, and Heidegger is that life is about being the person we want to be.

Not the person others tell us we should be, or the person we think we ought to be. But the person we 'want' to be.

It's amazing how often this sentiment, or something very similar, appears in so many philosophies. Moderation of speech appears in Confucianism, Daoism, Buddhism; even Aristotle advocated for us to deliberate before we speak or act.

Poetry helped me ask the big questions.
Philosophy helped me shape some answers.

My next project is 52 short philsophhical esassy; a weekly journey through ancient and modern wisdom.

I love when inspiration hits me from the most random of places.
I've written poems off the back of; piano recitals, watching Sweeny Tood, daydreaming next to a pond, even doing the garden chores.

I've been really getting into my indie games over the last few years.

There are a lot of titles out there by indie developers which often times play better than AAA games.

Someone asked if I’d ever written something so good I had to stop and congratulate myself.
I was 13. I wrote the start of a story so good I couldn’t believe it was mine. That story became my first novel.
It all starts somewhere. Be kind to your work and yourself.
