It really makes you think: Trump has no clue what’s going on here.

Think about why Joe Biden and other past presidents couldn't have simply done whatever they wanted, regardless of laws and the Constitution. It wasn't because they were all good guys, deeply respectful of institutions. It's because EVERYONE WOULD HAVE FREAKED OUT.

Nah saying something WILL happen later doesn't get through to low info voters. They hear that claim all the time from both sides and are distrustful and suspicious of it. In contrast to Egg Cost Too Much, which is self-evident and indisputable and happening already.

Again, this is stupid. But,

The type of persuadable normie who decides elections in America does not know anything about how the federal government works but DOES know that eggs costing a lot represents a self-evident, ipso-facto failure of the government. That's really stupid and bad but it's the reality.

I think he’s taking issue with people presuming his entire ideology by assessing just one of his positions. That is a problem, and it’s not weak or whining to criticize unproductive criticism.

You can say it: it’s the progressives. It’s always the progressives.

This would’ve been such an easy win for Israelis by outright rejecting Trumps plan as impractical and immoral.

But I also see why they’d be eager to throw full responsibility to Trump if he wants it (no one has been so stupid as to *want* that responsibility before).

If what Dems think about Trumps policies are true, they should welcome his feeble attempts at doing it, walking it back, failing, etc. Use it as an advantage instead of playing victim— that’s one thing they could learn from the GOP.

Democrats need to give up this game and do three things:

1) Explain how Trump’s plans are bad *before* he tries it.

2) When Trump fails, explain how he failed to accomplish his *own* goals.

3) If Trump follows through, explain its horrible impact on their lives.

“Win-win-win” for Democrats.

Democratic leaders whine about what will happen if Trump does something bad, but when he fails or lies they allow his supporters to say it was all part of the plan.

Dems are then left trying to explain how he was lying but how if he didn’t it’d be bad, using abstractions and counterfactuals.

Welp. The “genocide Joe” crowd seems pretty quiet.

This is actually the worst possible option other than a genocide. I’m glad Trump said he doesn’t understand how Palestinians could want to stay in Gaza: I’m noticing many others share that same ignorance.
