Usually one of my fav things about Portugal is the time zone. You wake up at 3am US Eastern time, and there are 5-6 blissful hours before the US starts generating batshit news.

If it’s any comfort, I think it is extremely common to experience low key generalized anxiety and for that to feel like it suddenly attached itself to a specific subject. Almost like the anxiety is shopping for an outlet amongst your thoughts.

In fact, it’s dipped into negative territory of value being drained from society 😭
