learning bass music sound design is funny because i just spent like 3 hours trying to freestyle a growl: connecting all the bits I've learned from tutorials, learning Vital's UI etc and it was great! definitely time well spent. yet you hear what i made and it literally sounds like poop from a butt

it was the first electronic that I opened up and tried to repair myself because when it (the Video) stopped working I became rabid and was desperate to revive it and get back to the tunes

I'd even go so far as saying that the iPod was the reason I ended up learning how to computer in the first place— it was with the older iPod Video but still, the desire to aquire and manage a music library eventually made me comfortable navigating the computer/internet

that lil guy carried me thru the period of my life when I was discovering/exploring new music the most, and also when I was just starting out recording/producing music. easily a top 3 fixture in my life at the time. it was even still in the leather case I used!!

I had everything that was on there backed up so nothing lost music wise (they were all just mp3s anyway, v0 and below), but like damn
