-Anyway, this movie is one of those inverse ratio screeners.
You can’t get this tape on ebay for less than $15. Several people are asking $20, and one guy is trying to get $50!

People see it’s a screener and assume it has value, but nobody in the world wants to watch it.
It’s a weird phenomenon.

This is a weird thing-
In the world of VHS collecting, screeners are a rarity and can be valuable. They’re tapes that were sent to video store owners to persuade them to order the movie for their store.
-but sometimes when a movie is super unsuccessful screeners actually outnumber regular copies.

This has Roddy McDowall, George Lazenby, and a couple of other recognizable character actors, but I can’t find much about it online.

As films go Stealth is definitely.... one of them.

Its pure and total shooty pew-pew trash.

Hell, it makes Rob Cohen's "Hurricane Heist" look good.

The icing on the cake is the Hip Hop soundtrack Artisan Entertainment added for the English dub.

This is amazing and wild!
It’s a Hong Kong action movie inspired by Kato from The Green Hornet.
So you’d think it would be kind of family friendly, but it’s full of blood and guts.
So you’d think it would be pretty serious.. No, it’s also comedic.
Plus a little sci-fi buddy cop, body horror and BDSM

This was directed by Rob Cohen.
He also directed The Fast and the Furious, and was executive producer for a lot of stuff: The Witches of Eastwick, Monster Squad, Running Man, Serpent and the Rainbow.

This one was a huge budget flop.

The symbol looks like a CD because the image is taken from a Sega game.

This is supposed to be a famously bad movie.
It’s not bad, but it’s full of weird ideas that don’t always work.

I find it pretty charming.

It’s a Sharp cathode ray tube television with a cat on it.

OK. I got another 27” TV.
This one works and has the remote and was only $28, so I’m not a weirdo, it was too good to pass up.
Anyway, I got the other one for free so that doesn’t count.

For some reason I've always found Jon Bon Jovi's acting career to be charming, because he's this big time rock star but not a very good actor so he was game to just moonlight in low budget (sometimes straight-to-video) shlock just for the love of the game.

Oh jeez, I hadn’t even looked up there yet.

No power at all.
I replaced the cord which was damaged.
The first fuse is blown, I ordered a replacement.
There’s a second, smaller fuse in the power section that still has continuity, so maybe that’s all it is, or I don’t know??
The capacitors look OK, but I haven’t actually tested them yet.
