Alien: Prometheus is a movie I cannot seem to like. I love the rest of the franchise, I love high concept sch-fi, but no matter how many times I watch it, or hear someone explain why they like it, I'm just bored and unimpressed.

And theres nothing wrong with not engaging with art and still enjoying it, especially on subsequent viewings, but I feel like the disconnect between content and art is really glaring, and kind of horrible and dangerous

If you're engaging with a piece of art, and at no point you feel uncomfortable, I think either you havent engaged with it in the way it wants you to, or the art is failing in some way.

About halfway through Yakuza 0 and the game is really bouncing off me. It's my third time trying to play it, and i love 7, but for some reason I just cannot seem to loose myself in it. I'm enjoying myself, but nowhere near as much as everyone yelling about it being the second coming made me assume

It's just different from in the past, when I've usually struggled less with ideas, and more getting them onto paper. No clue what changed.

I've been writing vignette horror, and the biggest struggle isn't the actual writing, it's finding an idea with enough meat on it to get to 1-2k words, and having to accept that sometimes you have to abandon an idea 500 words in. No idea how people do this weekly, I struggle to get an idea a month

Three months since my last dnd session, and six since I last ran one. I'm getting fucking withdraws lmao

Man. The Pathologic 3 demo was amazing. It fixed pretty much all my issues from Quarantine, and felt so much more complete than that did. Playing it was so surreal in the way that only really Pathologic makes me feel. Cannot wait for the full game
