The miners grew more paranoid the longer they were in the mine, so they eventually started demanding rotations because they were seeing strange shadows that were moving around.

Now I'm going to have to go check, but I'm pretty sure that the Forsaken miners lost their minds but at a much slower rate.
There should be Forsaken NPCs that talk about it at Vengeance Landing, at least during the quests, so some quest text may need some digging through.

Perhaps I'm jaded again, but everyone wants interaction yet the majority of the RP hub are people AFK for hours.
Which is fine, but it does add some awkwardness.
