moved to London post grad and the burbs for a while, then Holland, where my regional Brabants accent was so good that only people from my town knew I wasn't from there, to New Jersey, and now to Washington. I have an accent everywhere I go!

Ha! I was born in NW England to parents from Yorkshire, moved to Portsmouth, which has its own class-coded accent that was frowned upon in school, went to college in Manchester with friends mostly from Yorkshire and where a regional accent gave you street cred,
