Whole experience was exhausting, for us and our child who would psych himself up for it each time. Now we can finally book a dentist appointment which we’ve been putting off during the whole saga.

In the end we contacted a local clinic and had to see their GP as well and then they agreed to vaccinate but it had to be ordered in and the first time they ordered the wrong vaccine, so then we had to wait again while they reordered. And it takes two weeks for them to get stock.

We sourced a letter from our primary GP stating 10yo could have a Covid booster because he’s never had Covid. That was the easiest part. No one had the under 12 in stock, there was no easy way to find out where to get it. Finally found a chemist that had it and they refused even with the letter.

Almost always you need a car to use those services. Plus I don’t know about in other countries but you pay a fee for using them here in Australia. Disabled and immunocompromised people shouldn’t have to pay more just for the privilege of not getting sicker. Same goes for delivery.

If I were a billionaire seeing so many people casually saying “Eat the rich,” the last thing I’d want is for my fellow billionaire to cut off food assistance to 1 in 8 people in the country.
