UPF50+ long sleeve tops and hats have helped me so much with this issue. Been tossing up fingerless gloves for summer to protect my hands.

A & B - Mage first playthrough, tried warrior which I also loved. Really struggled with Rogue which is usually my go to, probably wouldn’t play that again.

It’s crazy how quickly people were convinced that a deadly virus that killed millions is now just a β€œmild cold”

China’s CO2 emissions have been flat or falling for past 18 months, analysis finds World’s biggest polluter on track to hit peak emissions target early but miss goal for cutting carbon intensity

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

It’s been a pleasure working with Lex and everyone in the politics vertical at Teen Vogue. I’m heartbroken that my column, Disability Visibility, is gone. Teen Vogue was one of the few places that published disabled journalists regularly. I just spent the last 2 months working on my next column

Older Australians must now queue to join the queue for home care Families and insiders say the system to assess people for aged care is in crisis, with 116,000 people on the waiting list. Once approved, they join the queue to get a home care package, which stands a...

"For the past 40 years, it's been Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACAT), based with state and territory health departments, who have done assessments and decided on the level of care needed. But in December last year, the government partially privatised the system at a cost of more than $1.2 billion."

There is a company selling e-bikes for toddlers that have a top speed of 20km/h. When I saw the ad on Fb I thought it was a scam, but they’re also being sold on the Harvey Norman website. How is this legal?

4585 - Police and Counter-terrorism - INCIDENTS INVESTIGATED UNDER STRIKE FORCE PEARL

Latham, Mark to the Minister for Agriculture, Minister for Regional New South Wales, and Minister for Western New South Wales representing the Minister for Police and Counter-terrorism, and Minister for the Hunter
(1) I refer you to the answer provided to the recent Budget Estimates, on notice, by the acting Police Commissioner Peter Thurtell regarding serious attacks on people and property motivated by antisemitic ideology, such that, "Fourteen incidents were investigated under Strike Force Pearl which were at the higher end of offending, being attacks on synagogues, graffitti, firebombings, attacks on cars and attacks on houses", and ask:
(a)
(b)
of these 14, how many were investigations of incidents that did not lead to any charges being laid? of the remaining (where charges were laid), how many were perpetrated by:

Iran or agents of the Iranian regime? other foreign agents?
people associated with and paid by organised crime figures?
(c)
Of those not covered by (a) and (b) (that is, were a product of genuine homegrown anti-semitic ideology), what was the nature of the incident and what criminal proceedings have been pursued by the NSW Police Force?
Answer -
I am advised that:
(1)
(a) All 14 incidents have resulted in charges being laid.
(b)
(i)
(ii)
Strike Force Pearl investigated 14 incidents which were at the higher end of offending, being attacks on synagogues, graffiti, firebombings, attacks on cars and attacks on houses. The NSW Police Force has nil holdings in relation to Iran or agents of the Iranian regime perpetrating these incidents.

No media about this?

NSW Police investigated 14 incidents of alleged antisemitic attacks and found NO evidence of Iran or any other foreign agent acting in relation to the 14 alleged antisemitic incidences

The Minns and Albanese govts both exploited this falsehood to further their own agendas

Whole experience was exhausting, for us and our child who would psych himself up for it each time. Now we can finally book a dentist appointment which we’ve been putting off during the whole saga.

In the end we contacted a local clinic and had to see their GP as well and then they agreed to vaccinate but it had to be ordered in and the first time they ordered the wrong vaccine, so then we had to wait again while they reordered. And it takes two weeks for them to get stock.

We sourced a letter from our primary GP stating 10yo could have a Covid booster because he’s never had Covid. That was the easiest part. No one had the under 12 in stock, there was no easy way to find out where to get it. Finally found a chemist that had it and they refused even with the letter.

Almost always you need a car to use those services. Plus I don’t know about in other countries but you pay a fee for using them here in Australia. Disabled and immunocompromised people shouldn’t have to pay more just for the privilege of not getting sicker. Same goes for delivery.
