Thesis now at 56,000 words, I don't want to go beyond 60. I have a list of stuff that needs to be written. I can do this (I just can't do everything else as well 😂)

It's been nine years since I worked on Citescore, we didn't do anything about citations from retracted articles then, from memory that dataset wasn't available. Hans Zijlstra is the person who works on it now, I'd like to think that we'll see an annoucement with the next release

Frankly, if the JIFs do change, that would be a huge red-flag!

There are other populations (e.g. clinicians) that seem stronger on X than BS (very early observation). I think this is a case of early-adopter / creators moving first / and then the audience will follow. (It implies, of course, that re-migration to X is possible, in pursuit of an active audience)

Posted December last year. The data we're looking at is more-or-less real time, the switch is happening in March 2025. Some days x is on top, sometimes bluesky (for new research). Blog post coming soon.

Mike needed something to talk about. Important to note, x hasn't collapsed, it's a slow and steady migration, and if you take into account retweets of old research, x is still in front. Nevertheless, this is a truly significant step
