Well this is rubbish news to wake up to. The man was in too many cult classics to list, and it was always a good sign if he cropped up in a film (if nothing else, the whole thing would likely be worth it for him alone). RIP.

If ITV felt like spending the money then why not I guess!
I get that the original story was set there, but you'd have thought that the adaptation would have been set somewhere closer to home for budgetary reasons. There's no need for the story to be set in any specific place (except maybe a holiday destination where rich people hang out).

Dunno why the first episode had to be set and filmed in Jamaica either, other than everyone fancied a jolly on ITVs money.
I got in via an agency when I was unemployed and didn't totally hate every second of it so applied for a permanent role when one became available.
