I work at a public university and I’m extremely worried about political interference, but not from the left.
And the interference we’re facing now is directly connecting to cost and more specifically to funding. Decades of diminishing state support for universities have made them vulnerable.

The absolute worst people keep getting put in charge of things. It’s so exhausting.
