I've been fighting for pain meds for decades. And I keep getting told I don't look like I'm in that much pain. I smile too much. Of course I fucking smile too much. I'm in pain 24/7 and it distresses other people to see the pain on my face. So I masked. And it's second nature.

This series is so good! So. Good! Like I cannot fully express how good this series is.

Thank you. I've been trying to pay more attention to mood because histamine, hormones, and migraine all impact it. I am going to take antihistamines just to rule out histamine as a culprit.

Ooof, I am having a day. And I think the drastic downturn in depression is part of the prodrome migraine phase which means, you guessed it, Auntie N is getting a migraine. It's too soon to take rescue meds however.

Chronic illness is great.

I always forget storybundle exists and I've purchased books through them. One day I will conquer my adhd and actually organize my browser bookmarks and my ebooks.

In addition to what Skyla has linked below, I find out an author sells direct usually because I go to their website. But I often go to author websites because it's the easiest way for me to find their backlist and to see where they sell their books. It's more work but I don't mind.

But even if it did, those thermometers mentioned in the first sentence? They don't work properly on Black skin. Same with pulse oximeters: they don't work on melanin, either.
