And if it's exhibition visitor numbers, do some proper research and then stick a zero on the end.

He bet Β£100 at 5/1. It's not about making money. It's about a sense of entitlement and believing the rules just don't apply to him. Which is a bigger issue than greed.

With the FIFA World Cup in 2026 rapidly approaching, involving 48 countries in 12 groups, the BBC starts auditions for presenters who can explain the new tournament format.

'Working people'. Devisive, ableist language. I'm one of your constituents who has worked 46 years and been forced to stop by severe illness. Not my choice. Do you no longer represent me?

It's extraordinarily that doing what improves the lives of the UK's citizens the most is seen as a lesser priority than what improves the govt's chance of re-election. And equally extraordinarily that these are not the same.

47 years ago, aged 14, I walked in here and asked for 'a pint of beer'. The start of a lifelong appreciation of pubs. Rather weird to be back today. Many years since last visit.

I remember watching Tomorrow's World as a kid in the 70's, but I don't remember a prediction of the complete collapse of all essential UK infrastructure. I mean, a flying car would be cool but I'll settle for a train.

When I worked for the Science Museum Group the security guards were a huge asset. Essential to the safe running of the sites, a reassurance to everyone working FoH, visitor focused and knew more about the collections than most. It's not a good reflection on museums to see how undervalued they are.

Support Museum Security Guards' fight for fair pay Donate to the Natural History, Science and V&A museums security guard' strike fund to help them win Β£16 per hour and proper sick pay!

I've just donated a tenner to the museum guard's strike fund. They're only asking for Β£16 an hour and sick pay from day one. Very reasonable! Find out more:

If the Lib Dems want to pick up votes from both sides they should send Ed Davey out with a steak sandwich.

Some positive economic news in these difficult times. The cat grew 2.8% in the last quarter, against a target of 1.6%. Forecast growth for critical Christmas period upgraded to an impressive 4.5%.
