Maybe the best expression I've seen of the idea that it isn't a "difference in politics" that's causing people to end relationships with family/friends/partners. It's an incompatibility of morals.

That's one of the many reasons I'm in process of deleting FB & moving away from Meta platforms entirely. For a platform *supposedly* intended to facilitate connection, all it does is hold me & the people I care about at arm's reach from each other & keep me feeling perpetually late to conversations.
