Really like the colors and hexagons! Although I value follow through and completion of projects, I allow myself a lot of leeway with my knitting/crochet. Totally fine giving up, starting another, etc. Life is full of "must finish" tasks, and I refuse to weigh down my joyful pastimes like that. 🙂

Sounds pretty cool! I love being around nerdy folx and learning new things in an emersive environment. I got really lucky at the start of my career with a boss that taught me anything I wanted to learn. Bulk cuts, production management, etc etc. It prompted me going to school for fashion design.

Absolutely. I'm a blue dot without the option to get out. The most effective way of changing hearts and minds is through relationships. Othering is very tempting, and I am super frustrated with the lack of education and insight, but there are many forces at work that someone like me is up against.

Recently I purchased two skeins of hand dyed yarn that looked like different colorways when knit up. I struggled to figure out how to alternate rows on a complicated lace pattern that stretched in blocking, but just finished this successful test run! Now to frog the hand dyed and reknit. #knitting
