Marketplaces are a convenience option, but not a single one supports the artist as much as a store they are in control of.

This needs to be talked about more. Personal space needs don’t disappear because you love someone forever.

The combat. The HUMOR. Nathan Lane’s giant middle fingers was just chef’s kiss). Everything about Mr Terrific was... terrific.

If he manages to lead DC into this new era of comic adaptations I will go see every single one. Everyone should.

All comics are. They’re art. They’re commentary on politics and mental health and love and the complexity of being human. They’re a safe haven for those who feel different and those who feel powerful all in the same room.

And with all of that it was an absolute spectacle. The action, effects, the..

Superman almost defies categorization.

He had a major arc.
He blended in, seamlessly, like 5 other major arcs without trying to “do too much.”
He reinvented Supergirl in 30 seconds of screen time.
It FELT like the comics.
And, it was absolutely political commentary without ambiguity.

I grew up with Marvel. Uncanny X-men #1 was my first comic and I read it to actual shreds.

Being a part of this community is a piece of my life that has given me more than I can say and I will never forget. One of the things I look forward to most in this next phase of my life is coming back to visit this beautiful community.

Our professors Crocilla and Adami at Park Slope Jiu Jitsu tell us every morning to "take care of your training partners." It's part of the DNA and goes well beyond the mat. This ethos, to roll with intention, to grow, to support others' growth.

As for this group, I really don't have the words. I see these faces every morning on the mat. I've spent more time with each of these folks in the last 3 years than I have with almost anyone in my entire 19 years visiting and living in Brooklyn.

It's why I continue to create these in my life and work (see also www.unleashcreativity.club), and can't see why I'd ever stop.

#Aftermath Family portrait (a few folks missing :| ). I have spent my life both creating and being embedded in different communities. Science has shown that the _feeling_ of belonging in these spaces is exceptional support for physical, mental, even financial, and relational health.

To be transparent I’ve handed off the big tasks like security, site performance, custom coding. But I still enjoy going in and mucking about with layout. Really enjoying Elementor. My tech wizard is moving the gallery site over to that soon and I can’t wait.

Glad to. Just today I was on my electric scooter and felt a surge of joy as I passed by a whole street of cars stuck because someone just parked… in the middle of the street. Zero traffic is feature number one of cycling/scooting.
