I think if you saw schools today you'd see the new theory is not to lift anyone up. Maybe that's actually more fair but it's still disconcerting.

I have two little boys (small for their ages even) and we are all constantly getting jumped on by family members' large untrained dogs at family get-togethers. It's exhausting. The assumption is always that my boys are weird for not loving dogs.
Ask me if I'm still bitter about that. :)

turns out it requires money for lessons, effort, and patience to train dogs. Never gonna happen.

These are the people I fear. Even if the vast majority of dog owners are responsible people, it only takes one of this type of asshole to cause major damage to me or mine.
