Man, Funcom and by extension The Outsiders shutting down, and then Avalanche and Starbreeze having major layoffs (including myself yay) it’s been just the worst week for the Stockholm games industry. My friends and I are just gutted. #gamedev

Like fuck man, I was there for ten years. Like four months ago i was congratulated on stage with a gift for my tenure at the company. Today? “Your role doesn’t exist anymore sorry lol”

I guess if anyone has contacts in the games industry; I am an extremely competent senior environment artist with 14+ years experience, with over 30 PAYDAY(2 and 3) DLCs, outsourcing management and interim lead experiences under my belt.

Panel 2 the person behind me response: Those are your characters. You're the one that has to draw them. Panel 3 a moment of silence as I process that statement. Panel 4 I am on the ground crying and pissing surrounded by crude drawings of my own character.

WIP on my desk, but I thrifted a busted vanity mirror and used the bortom drawers as a monitor shelf. Next step is a desk mat that fits this theme better

Older lady today was super excited that her old handmade chest was going to someone (me) who was going to keep it as is and loved it. It’s a super cool antique chest, handmade as what she thought was probably part of a masters test

The most fun thing about buying antique furniture from marketplace is that you get to meet a lot of sweet old people who are so excited for their old furniture to get a new life in a new home.

My farmor, my paternal grandmother, passed away very suddenly. I got together with my sister today to make the donuts she’d always make with us as kids.

Farmor was one hell of a woman, I miss her but now I have two dozen donuts to remember her by.

Fucking sucks I wasn’t able to be anywhere near as active on Art Fight as I wanted this year, but between being hospitalized and having to move immediately after getting out I’m at negative energy

Condo was left in a hilariously bad condition, seller was contractually obligated to hire cleaners and yet there was garbage left in cabinets and rotting tomatoes on the stove, garbage we had to quickly stow away for the cleaners

Realtor found cleaners! Yippee I don’t have to change the moving plans

Realtor is desperately trying to find a cleaning company to clean today because we have movers booked tomorrow morning OTL

Walked in for the first time today and it has not been cleaned and there are rotting tomatoes in the kitchen 🫠

Ahhh I got the keys to our condo! We move tomorrow and will be neighbors with one of my dearest friends and have so many friends within walking distance
