Like there are similarities but any reference to past Bonds in any Bond movie is more tongue in cheek fanservice than it is canon unless I've read it all completely wrong.

The best interaction I've ever had at a Target was a cashier asking me how I was doing and I said "honestly? Shitty day." And she said "thank you! I'm having a rough one too." And we talked for a few minutes and wished each other well.

Target wants that woman to shut up and smile.
