Well, I got halfway through Prime 2's hard mode when I (predictably) got crushed by the Boost Guardian. Five times in a row.

The rest of Prime 2 can wait until November, as the rest of October is going to be dedicated to spooky games.

What to pick though?

Also, I need to rewatch MtPain27's Dean of Doom episode on that WAD and compare my thoughts to his.

Actually it wasn't really that long. I think it was like 3 and a half, maybe 4 hours.

That said, really hard Doom levels like the later levels of the 10x10 project take a lot of focus.

Was going to stream all of Hard Mode of Metroid Prime 2 tonight, but I don't think I have it in me, especially after last night's long stream.

Instead I'm going to do it tomorrow. Hopefully. Prime 1's took 6 and a half hours and I know that game a lot better.

Tonight I rest, for tomorrow night I am going to try to finish The 10x10 Project (a Doom WAD).

I still have (I think) 3 levels, 2 of which have over a thousand monsters, so it will likely be a long stream.

For one there are the bosses.

While some of the minor bosses are deservedly infamous (Boost & Spider), the major bosses and Dark Samus fights are amazing.

Special mention to taking Quadraxis apart piece by piece.

I just recently beat Metroid Prime 2 for the first time in a decade, and Oh My God it was so good.

It does have more flaws than the first game, but those are counterbalanced by it having so much higher highs.

Jeez, I need to start posting other content here, but once more I am posting to say that I'm not streaming tonight.

I want to get some of my backlog uploaded to YouTube before I stream/record more, and I just want to take a day's break.

No stream tonight, I'm feeling a little under the weather.

Tomorrow I'm going to finish Prime 2, and Sunday I hope to start a Doom MegaWAD.

Might do a short little midnight victory stream (thinking Wolfenstein 3D) if it doesn't take too long.

It probably will take a while, though.

I know they screwed around when airing the last few episodes of Hey Arnold. I think the last two produced episodes were made in 2001, with the original version of the Jungle Movie falling through around the same time.

IIRC that is how they casted the live action actors for RE1's intro. Barry Burton's actor was literally a school principal.

Looking at the scientists pics in the first two games, they just look pics of normal people.

Could the devs not get some photos of themselves and use that as the scientist pics?!

Someone probably showed him a movie with one of those crappy "cartoon" filters that have been around forever (I remember my grandpa using them on a few photos when I was younger), and told him it was AI and that it turns movie into Anime.
