it comes down to intolerance of the intolerant... we want them to experience consequences and reflection for their actions. they want others to experience consequences for existing at all

i see where you're coming from (and this thinking is used to discount people not doing the Nice Peaceful Protest :) thing) but what they see as "wishing suffering" upon ICE really is "wishing they'd experience any kind of consequences and forcing them to actually think about how they've hurt people"

One of my favourite running bits me & my gf have is making pyro draw a character from memory when he misremembers them. Thats how we ended up with “the Grubber” which was him trying to remember Grimace from McDonald’s. Delighted to welcome Chroma Magnum to the island of dipshit toys

WAIT i tried looking for other videos and i can see that fuunsaiki is at one point ridden by a younger guy (which was part of the memory) & sometimes theyre briefly shown as being in the same "room", so maybe it was G Gundam after all! i'm not sure though :O

i DID come across this before actually!! it's just that in my memory the horse and rider were in the same "room" (it looked like a room, anyway) together when piloting the mechs? and i also recall a bunch of wires being attached to them, but i could be mistaken

this is barely related to either of your skeets but when i was a kid i have this memory of seeing a mecha show that had a horse-shaped mecha piloted by an actual horse and i've never ever been able to find the source of it

like, i couldnt tell you what i would say if i saw him devoid of context, without knowing who he was at all--but everything he's said and done compound in my mind to make him the absolute ugliest, most repulsive person on earth to me

dont worry, i'm american and i hate seeing or hearing him too and avoiding that whenever possible
i think people's looks stand out to me far more when they're awful because i feel like it just Shows
