Forschungsgruppe "TORF" untersucht untergegangene Küstenlandschaft des mittelalterlichen Nordfrieslands Eine neue Forschungsgruppe untersucht, wie Menschen im Mittelalter am nordfriesischen Wattenmeer (Schleswig-Holstein) gelebt und dabei die Küstenlandschaft massiv umgestaltet haben. Das Vorhaben mit dem Titel "Times of Rise and Failure – TORF" kombiniert in sieben Teilprojekten geistes- und naturwissenschaftliche Disziplinen und wird in den kommenden vier Jahren von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft gefördert.

Vom 22. bis 24.09. fand die 2. Stationsausbildung der Cultural Heritage Response Unit #CHRU statt. Gemeinsam haben @thw.de, DAI & @leizarchaeology.bsky.social rund 60 Ehrenamtliche ausgebildet, um Kulturgüter im Katastrophenfall gemeinsam zu schützen.

Steinzeitliches Monument in Hofheim: Neue Erkenntnisse vom Kapellenberg Die jungsteinzeitliche Siedlung am Kapellenberg bei Hofheim zeugt von Krisen, Kriegen und Migration. Nach der vorerst letzten Grabung beginnt die Forschungsarbeit nun erst richtig.
