I started collecting Gundam Thunderbolt since there’s not readily available scans. I’ve been enjoying it so far.

Modern SRW is definitely on the easier side... bumping up the difficulty is probably a good call. Can also be good to change up the units you're using sometimes too, the game is generous enough that you can get away with it.

Probably not the deepest out there, but there is a surprising amount of depth, imo. The recent licensed titles don't make great use of all the mechanics, but the Original Generation games definitely do. Highly recommend checking out Original Generations on PS2 if that's your jam.
