CO2 monitors have become popular tools people can use to estimate their indoor air quality.
A new study was recently published that looks into how we can use them to optimise occupancy thresholds and identify problem locations.

βMost ridiculous decisionβ: Doug Ford slams Ontario judge over bike lane decision
The Ontario government said it will appeal a decision by Superior Court Justice Paul Schabas, who ruled that Fordβs plans to remove bike lanes on Bloor, University and Yonge streets was unconstitution...
Both the Star and CP just wrote up Ford's comments, and left out the fact that he obviously didn't read the ruling and just decided to petulantly lie about it. Neither story pointed out the judge said that Ford's government didn't try to make their case, and blatantly lied in what they did say.

This is the approximate amount Ontario thinks taxpayers should contribute to the building of a parking lot for a European megaspa that will be an eyesore on Toronto's waterfront. I find that helps put things into perspective on government spending priorities.

Most major carbon capture and storage projects haven't met targets
The majority of 13 flagship CCS schemes worldwide, representing 55 per cent of captured carbon dioxide, have either failed entirely or captured much less CO2 than expected
Carbon capture actually makes me angrier than almost anything in climate policy. Itβs been 50 years of wildly expensive pilot projectsβand a major project still hasnβt delivered on promised emissions reductions. Not once.
But sure, itβs a βcommon senseβ solution. π

This is specific to the UK situation, but I think it's something all Canadians should be wary of as Carney starts pushing for public-private partnerships. Outsourcing to private sector generally ends up costing taxpayers far more than it would have if you'd just paid public servants to do it.

Hmmm let's check the math on that one.
A bus with 50 people is the equivalent of a quarter km of bumper to bumper cars; factor in space between moving cars and that's half a km (over half the dist from Bloor to Dupont)... all in 12m.
Looks like it's not the busses causing congestion after all.

Council approves new plan to ease Toronto congestion, create 'traffic czar' | CBC News
City staff admit new measures wonβt eliminate congestion, but say they are the next steps to managing the issue, which costs the Toronto area over $40 billion a year.
Toronto will do anything but prioritize transit.
We know what the root cause of congestion is (too many cars). We already know the proven solutions.
We donβt need a traffic czar, we need to prioritize walking, cycling, and transit.
That means bus lanes north of Bloor on Bathurst & Dufferin.

I canβt emphasize enough that on Dufferin and many other surface corridors in the city, MORE PEOPLE RIDE TRANSIT THAN TRAVEL IN CARS.
And transit riders donβt block a full lane with an empty car when they get to their destination.
We need dedicated transit lanes. Itβs only fair.

Theyβre Skipping Car Payments; Thatβs The Final Warning Sign
Auto loan delinquencies just hit a 15-year high. Consumers are skipping car payments, signaling deeper financial stress. Markets havenβt priced it in yet.
"They're skipping car payments; that's the final sign"
... of the high cost of car-dependency? Of the calamitous decision to require an expensive, anti-social machine to go about daily life?
Good thing Ford is tripling down on car-dependency and ripping out / suppressing bike lanes. #onpoli

So disappointing to see a former green party candidate fold so easily on an issue that is so plainly right - environmentally, fiscally, and in terms of improving transportation equity.
