Abolish ICE.

There’s no reforming it.

There’s no compromise.

There’s only one way to rein in ICE’s terror campaign. Abolish it.

I don’t think we should make concessions to the Masked Murderers Guild of America. I don’t think we should compromise so the Masked Murderers Guild of America stops using kidnapped kids from schools as bait. I thought this was already illegal. The Masked Murderers Guild of America should not exist.

When Kittens Came to My Prison I had not touched a cat in 15 years when an orange kitten wandered over to sit with me in the grass one day.

BREAKING: My bipartisan BABES Enhancement Act is now law! πŸ‘

This law is about making it easier for parents to fly with breastmilk and breastfeeding supplies, ensuring TSA keeps its employees up to speed with its own policies and more.

Huge win for families.

SNAP is probably the most effective federal dollar we spend in terms of long term domestic economic outcomes.

that isn’t why you should support it; you should support it because it is a moral imperative to feed the hungry.

but it’s why even a growth-oriented ghoul shouldn’t oppose it.

Vance Boelter, a Trump, GOP voting Christian nationalist, was radicalized in part by QAnon, the same conspiracy promoted by Trump and Republicans, even though they knew it had radicalized others to commit violence.

Boelter had a hit list of 70 liberals. He killed Melissa Hortmann and her husband.

I will say that I find it weird that a lot of people are like "this is the moment that will tip us into violence" when a Minnesota politician was assassinated in her home 2 months ago and someone literally shot Trump in the head last year. how exactly is charlie kirk the tipping point

Political violence disproportionately hurts people with less power, not people with more power. Political violence will disproportionately hurt people of color and women and LGBTQ people. It’s not fair, but that’s the way it works. Celebrating political violence means at best indifference to that.

How we beat back the corporate takeover of America:

1. Break up corporate monopolies

2. Continue building union power

3. End Citizens United and get big money out of politics

Let’s keep working to unrig the system.

Maddow: 88% of the country says no, no, he cannot defy a supreme court ruling. Only 9% say yes he can. And you know, it's not the same thing. But I should mention that 9% is also the proportion of Americans who told yougov this week that they have a favorable view of the black plague

JILL J. KAROFSKY, J. In this original action we must
determine whether Governor Tony Evers exceeded his partial veto
authority under Article V, Section 10(1) of the Wisconsin Constitution. At
issue is Wisconsin’s 2023–25 biennial budget bill that included an
education revenue limit increase for two fiscal years. Using his partial
veto authority, the governor expanded the provision from two fiscal years
to 402 fiscal years by striking words and digits from the bill. We conclude
that those 2023 partial vetoes do not violate the constitution.

NEW: By a 4–3 vote, the Wisconsin Supreme Court upholds Gov. Tony Evers' creative "veto" transforming a two-year school funding increase into a 400-year funding increase. Evers crossed out words, numbers, and hyphens to rewrite the lawβ€”legally, it turns out. www.wicourts.gov/sc/opinion/D...

If a future Democratic trifecta wanted to float a trial balloon on expanding the Supreme Court, they should expand the lower courts to the point that their appointments in red states are the majority. And scrap the convention of giving the senators of a state a say in who gets nominated.

There's a vast gulf between trans and cis understanding of what it means for a trans sex worker to say she needed to sell sex to pay for surgery.

We read that the same as if a diabetic said they needed to sell sex to pay for insulin. Cis people still see our medical needs as frivolous, a choice.
