When ever I'm working in the Birmingham area I always love a lunch in Sparkhill. Of all the people I have been with on these occasions, including men and women the only one who really couldn't cope was a performative macho, tough guy.

They've all joined reform.

No one is going to do anything about this, there is no cavalry riding over the hill. We have 3-4 years to get organised; underground railways, communications, kinder transport, planned resistance.

Outing someone like this, especially when we have no actual idea what this person was thinking, is going to become increasingly dangerous as we slip towards an authoritarian future. I think that’s worth some contemplation (at least) going forward.
