one of the greatest albums of all time. takes elements from both previous releases while foreshadowing the band's later styles and somehow juggles it all perfectly. the first time i listened to this i didn't expect to like it, but it blew me away from the very start!

And I won't say that conventional plots or conventional storytelling is bad. I just think it's way cooler to live in another world and let the dream roll over you, change you, exist within you, uniquely.

the world would be a lot cooler if people would watch media and allow themselves to be absorbed rather than getting hung up on reality and meaning.

the reason that David lynch didn't explain his movies is because it would do the viewer a great disservice.
