Lots of trial & error on this one. Sanding was easy but my pencil lines were practically invisible once I traced my art so I switched to chalk.

This is the table.

This was the art that was going to be the new table top.

This is the new sketch for the art that will now fit the existing table top.

I had originally planned to take the top off this table and replace it with a larger piece I’ve been working on but it got far too labor intensive.

So time for Plan B:

Repurpose the art.
If you can’t bring the table to the art, bring the art to the table.

The work I do these days is all digital. It comes with so much urgency. I grind through deadlines one after another like they are on a conveyor belt.

Why do I feel cheated when I realize I’m looking at AI imagery?

AI feels hollow because artistically AI images lack a very important component. The part, as humans, we desire most, connection.
AI might make pictures but artists make connections and that makes all the difference. #makingart #artist
