Today is one of my longer days, 9 students with no time to leave campus and tons of short breaks. Wish I had WiFi at this school to get some emailing done. Oh well.

For real. Most people on those under 40 or whatever lists are privileged rich people who had help the entire way getting where they are. Not impressive, just infuriating.

Today is coffee shop day- where I have a break at lunch time that’s just long enough to drive to the nearby coffee shop for a latte and pastry 🥐 love it!

Oh my gosh. My dog Odie slipped out of his harness today and ran away! Thank GOD I got him to jump in my car after chasing him in the pouring rain sobbing for what felt like hours. We are both a little sore and traumatized. Hopefully he learned his lesson and never does this again.

I’m a big Hogwarts Legacy fan- I play it every day to relax! I was thinking about how great the music is and how it’s so John Williams-esque

HL music is amazing but doesn’t even compare to the richness and depth of John Williams’ music!

Sometimes I feel like the MC in a video game with side quest options- like, I am a musician and music teacher with an EMBA and MuEd MM, but I also want a PhD in Clinical Psychology to be a therapist for classical musicians. If only I had multiple lifetimes to do it all!

I already have an idea- just have to put a general proposal together that I can tweak for each submission depending on the requirements!

Already thinking ahead to next year’s music education conferences and session proposals. My goal is to get accepted for at least one session somewhere next year.
