1/5 - I wrote this short comic immediately after experiencing a hate crime inside the Wing Luke Museum (Seattle's Asian American history museum). I didn't sit down to make the comic until over a year after it happened, but now it's done. I have exorcized the feelings.

everyone should read Shubeik Lubeik btw. it came out last year and i only got to reading it now, but it's a really beautiful magical realism graphic novel. it's set in cairo and it's about different people's lives in a world where wishes are bought and sold under The Free Market™️.
