Makes sense, Wendy.

I’m a Forest fan and the Notts/Nottingham thing has never bothered me.

If someone calls us Notts Forest it signals to me they either don’t follow the game that closely (completely fine) or are on a wind up.

I hadn’t realised until stumbling on this thread that County fans also don’t like it.

It’s not ideal but that could have gone a lot worse.

Also, I fail to see any risk in gathering a group of travelling football fans at a deeply religious site on the first day of Ramadan.

Forest’s away supporters’ guide is always useful and well constructed.

This line for Fenebahce shows a flair for diplomacy.

We should lock in with Dyche unless West Ham overtake us and there’s a viable alternative that isn’t a caretaker.

However, I’ve been surprised and disappointed by how little Dyche has in ideas and in-games changes in particular.

Some good results but also some of the worst losses in recent years.

It’s true that I’m a Forest fan but every day I find my views more aligned with Slovenian intellectuals and the progressive movement in Guatemala.

Even for him, this is a low.

Fully agree Farage’s finances are opaque and merit investigation, by the way.

While I take your point around Mandelson, we do have the context and also know he’s unlikely to be interested in trafficked girls/women.

PA Media fact checked Farage’s mentions in the files and more than 20 are from a news article. I haven’t seen anywhere he was in touch with Epstein personally.

You’re no doubt correct.

Farage would likely follow Trump’s approach of getting out early and forthright in denial, recognising his supporter base won’t question him.

It annoys me when people complain about Farage and Reform, only to ape their tactics of false outrage and innuendo.

Farage is one of the worst things to happen to the UK in decades. But he is not, to my knowledge, a sex offender, as the post implies by saying he’s named in the Epstein files.

Also, who is that bothered about saving Β£1 every 20 pints?

Yeah I get that. I sense Dyche doesn’t trust at least a couple of those under pressure, although McAtee improved his standing last night.

I’d be ok with McNeil if it was a loan with an option, and we weren’t tied to him next season.

Dyche has been brought in to keep us up. If he says when the chips are down I want McNeil as an option then I wouldn’t begrudge him that.

John’s knee injury has ended his season.

Gunn wants a move to play and potentially get into Scotland’s World Cup team.

So yeah, Sa or another experienced backup for Sels is required.

Jeremy Corbyn wants higher benefits and pensions for Derbyshire folk The former Labour leader was speaking in Derby yesterday

Reminds me of when Corbyn signed off this interview with the Derby Telegraph with β€œgood luck to Nottingham Forest”.

24% (twenty-four per cent) of Forest’s points this season have come against Brentford.

Ed striking the right tone here.

My only advice would be to not use the phrase β€œas you admitted” to portray the interviewer as an adversary.

Instead, lean on their authority as a neutral observer when it favours you. β€œAs you rightly pointed out” or β€œas you correctly identify” do this well.

As you correctly reference in your article, Rob Jones has made a key error in each of the last three Forest games he’s officiated, all favouring the opposition.

I’m 100% sure it’s honest human error, but is there any mechanism to keep him away from Forest now?
