I know that everybody is absolutely overwhelmed by the need right now, but I want to let folks know about Zion Community Commons. They’ve been feeding our neighbors in Saint Paul and across the region for years, and right now they’re getting food to thousands of families who can’t leave their homes.

Non-violent protest is NOT peaceful protest.

Politicians and the media use these words interchangeably to our detriment. And most folks don't hear the difference. Here's what I mean:

Apropos of nothing, obviously, I think there are quite a few armchair activists who are looking at Minnesota right now and feeling shame. Because there are so many ways to do the work (commuting, printing whistles, supplying groceries, providing rides, mocking ICE) and they're not doing anything 1/

It's worth reminding each other every couple days that every delay you create, every horrible opportunity you deter means someone gets home to their family, might even mean someones actual life is saved. All of it is worth it.
