Any Democrat doing the whole "we disagreed but I never doubted Dick Cheney's commitment to this country" or whatever the fuck needs to be yeeted into the sun. No one should ever listen to them again about anything, but especially not about policy or elections.

I bet a couple of them will make a show of moving to Texas or Florida and then find out. What they find out, exactly, depends on which city, but in every case they're not going to find the luxuries or services they're accustomed to. There's a reason they're in New York and it's not low taxes.

Maybe nobody in the great big world cares about this.
But the public libraries in tiny Jefferson County in Northern Appalachia were in danger of losing their tax funding thanks to right-wing book banners. And we won. The library's funding is safe!!!!!

Georgia Democrats had not won a statewide race that wasn't for a federal office since 2006.
They won two races tonight, both against GOP incumbents.
The margins? 62% to 38% in both.

Canβt stop thinking about all the robber baron fucks that held secret meetings and spent MILLIONS AND MILLIONS in bribes and campaign investments and attack ads and media manipulation trying to tank Mamdani currently having the dawning realization that their money is completely and utterly useless.

Democratic party leadership has been on autopilot for ten years, they weren't losing to fascism, fascism isn't popular enough for them to lose to fascism, they were allowing it to fill the void where their leadership should have been. Tonight we're seeing that we have other options. They should too.

New York City mayoral election results 2025
Democrat Zohran Mamdani will be the next mayor of New York City, according to an AP projection

By Washington Post staff
Zohran Mamdani, a 34-year-old New York assemblyman and democratic socialist, has won New Yorkβs mayoral race, according to a projection by the Associated Press. He faced Republican Curtis Sliwa and former New York governor Andrew M. Cuomo, who lost the Democratic primary against Mamdani and ran as an independent in the general election.
Mamdani will become the cityβs first Muslim mayor and is the youngest person in a century to win City Hall.
Zohran Mamdani Dem 1,026,261 50.3%
Andrew Cuomo Oth 848,295 41.6%
Curtis Sliwa GOP 145,360 7.1%
Other candidates 18,560 0.9%
More than 50% and more than a million votes. Call that a Mamdani Mandate. Alliterate their asses.

this is an obvious overcorrection that misleads the polling data and will lead to disaster in the Heartland. the results of tonight show that the Democrats should moderate: adopting two or at most three of the five pillars of Islam

Decision Desk has called both of Georgia's statewide races, for public service commissioner, for Democrats.
If confirmed, this would be a really huge win for Democrats:
It'd be their first statewide win in any non-federal race since 2006!
