The checks and double checks, not to mention that both Dem and GOP judges sign off on everything, make it impossible to cheat. There is a ballot counter AND paper ballots. And poll watchers from both parties to check on us through the whole process.

The first time I worked the polls in my new county, I joked with a poll watcher at the end of the night that we were too darn tired to do anything nefarious. /1

My grandfather, born in the 1880s, spent Saturdays after working a factory job, doing the house cleaning accompanied by his two sons. My grandmother and girls did all the meal prep. My grandfather told my dad that she worked all week, so he had this job on Saturday. A fine man!

What would be handy is a Soros Connected QR code at Michaels checkout while buying poster board and markers. Instead of waiting for my reimbursement.

I’d say the crowd was probably 3, maybe 4, times the June event in Joliet IL. (The police said June was about 2000.) in an area about 50% POC, there were almost all white people in the protest crowd. Meaning wiser heads prevailed among the POC lest they be harassed.

I have done this - although it’s usually a protein bar and a piece of fruit. If you have a multitude of food allergies but want to enjoy the company of friends or family, you do what you have to do. Not feral. Still alive.

I always carried a book or a magazine. Now I read my book or mag on my phone. So it has not changed terribly much.
