Contributions on otoliths and fish assemblages are of course also welcome. The hope is to showcase the power of multi-individual and multi-proxy approaches for paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatic reconstructions at EGU.

Abstract submission is open for #EGU26 (3 - 8 May 2026) 🚨

Are you working with #microfossils and have a story to tell about the #paleoenvironment and/or #paleoclimate? Then join our session to put a focus lens on these amazing micropaleontological proxies!

Geekiest moment of my career in #scientificoceandrilling. #DSDP Leg1 Site 1 Core 1R (and 1M too 😁). It got re-curated a few years ago (hence modern D-Tube and #IODP label). I am really grateful to everyone at the #GCR and especially #ECORD and #MagellanPlus for funding our workshop participation!

So I doubt there is a lot of cross pollination and discourse to combat misinformation due to the structure of Reddit. This is something that paper also highlights. Also as climate skeptic arguments are often conflated with populist politics a lot of these posts are also made in political subs (2/2)

Quite interesting, thanks for sharing! But the absolut number are starkly different, so there is certain platform specific dominance at play. Additionally the sub-forum (or subreddit) structure of Reddit supports and at times likely enforces bubble dynamics and echo chambers. (1/2)

#nannofossils have such an amazing structural complexity making them a joy to work with. And my phone becoming a real asset as a microscope camera for my Zeiss Axio.A1. Here a peak at Reticulofenestra umbilicus from the base of zone NP16 in the Eocene
