Are there rapist billionaires who will give him money in exchange for unpicking every stitch of civilized society there? If so don’t rule it out.

Vance ironically proving that actually not knowing what other people are saying can be an advantage.

Would hate to live next door to this piece of shit and be able to understand every nasty, dumb word that his stinking mouth emits into an unconsenting world.

In my very basic British white working class family friends of my parents were aunt and uncle.

Love the fact that the report just adds β€œand then Spurs scored a winner with 11 minutes to go” but doesn’t show the goal and wraps things up there!

My photo shows a Roman-era ribbed mosaic glass bowl standing on a glass shelf in a display case at the V&A Museum. The bowl is hemispherical with vertical ribs and an applied pedestal foot. The glass itself is composed of various combinations of red, white, blue, green and yellow stripes which resemble ribbons or tiny flags. Height 11.5 cm, width 15.5 cm. Other colourful glass pieces are visible in the background.

A 2,000 year-old Roman mosaic glass bowl with a dazzling swirl of colours resembling a kaleidoscope of tiny flags!

Why not just build your kitchen within a lead box so God can’t see what you’re up to?

Just a few of his touches in the first half gave me confidence that he’s our best bet up front til Dom comes back. Really hope he gets a few starts now and we can see what he has to offer. Never a question of *if* those players improve - only how much and how quickly (not helped by injury crisis).

It’s being massively underplayed that a big problem with this Spurs team is not at all complicated: We are missing our best three attackers and we sold Son. In an ideal world players like Tel, Xavi, Odobert would be being eased in. Thankfully Muani looks like a French int more than a French U21 int.

It’s being ignored, imo, that Spurs are missing our best *three* attacking threats in Maddison, Deki and Dom. In an ideal world Xavi, Tel and Odobert would be being eased in. At least Muani looks…more like a French international more than a French U21 international.

Why is Gary Neville repeating β€œit’s 50/50” when it’s blatantly offside? You don’t have to be interfering *effectively* to be offside! #COYS

There used to be some dignity to the governement which led the free world.

Now it’s just idiotic, teenage-level trolling and partisan point scoring on every social media account.

The destruction of the White House is far more thorough than some wall being knocked down.

People blame refs for so many things and it’s never mentioned how being a ref became a lot more difficult when every single player on the pitch is lying and trying to deceive you *all the time*.

25.10.2025 16:50 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

No one even mentions the fact that all the players are constantly lying and cheating nowadays. It started getting really bad about 20 years ago and we went through the β€œthere was contact” era to justify dives and now we don’t know what an honest person playing football even vaguely looks like.

A very funny (?) thing about Americans is that they will argue over whether America is a democracy or a republic. And I was just amazed and deeply puzzled over this for ages until I remembered the names of the two opposing political parties. lol!

My photo collage shows five cylindrical Minoan cups each with a single handle and slightly flaring rim. Each cup is decorated with a different geometric polychrome motif:

Top left: swirling white vine-like lines and round reddish-orange medallions framed by white circles on a black background.

Top right : large white spiral on front of cup with a reddish-orange oval shape with stylised white petals beside it, on a black background.

Middle left: diagonal zig-zag stripes in alternating black and white above and below a band around the middle of the cup

Bottom left: swirling white lines and reddish-orange and white geometric band on a black background.

Bottom right: diagonal white stripes below a row of red dots outlined with white circles on a black background.

This type of ornamental Minoan pottery is known as Kamares Ware, named after the Kamares Cave on Mount Ida on the Greek island of Crete where this kind of pottery was first discovered. Kamares Ware vessels were luxury items produced by palace workshops at Phaistos and Knossos on Crete. These five cups were excavated at Phaistos and are dated 1800-1700 BC.

Marvellous Minoan cups made by Bronze Age potters about 3,800 years ago!

What is it about the word β€œquantum” that’s so irresistible to people who love bullshit?

Quantum physics is the preferable physics to talk about for many people who don’t know high school physics.

Similarly yesterday I had a dude tell me a bunch of vague bullshit about numbers and he threw in, for no justifiable reason, β€œβ€¦and especially for imaginary numbers”. It was, ofc, all bullshit

I don’t want players who look like they *might* be able to *attempt* to do something tangible and productive!

I want the fuckers to turn defenders inside-out, to set up goals for team-mates, score goals themselves, dominate fullbacks etc. I want them to *actually* be good! Right now!

23.10.2025 17:38 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

To be fair: have we bought a really good striker since Berbatov?! Adebayor was good for his loan spell but pretty meh once he joined permanently. Holy shit - I’m not sure we have, you know.

23.10.2025 17:32 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

*really* low bar.

Is that the thing which gives the average mark out of ten from people? Back in the day when matches mostly weren’t on TV I had to pay attention to marks out of ten in papers etc but now such things are really of no interest/relevance. I just watch the games.

Only Kudus is * good enough* up front. The β€œOdobert is improving” cult is not convincing me (and I want to be convinced).

23.10.2025 16:49 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Well I mean we’ve brought in four first XI players to be fair.

The main trouble is that our best three attacking threats are all injured (and we correctly sold Son) so now we’re hoping that U-21 prospects who should be getting minutes in the Caraboa are ready to be regular starters (& they’re not).

23.10.2025 16:45 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Shame that many of the positives re our attackers right now are like trying to see a magic eye picture.

β€œDo you see the flashes from Muani?” Er…flashes, huh?

β€œDo you see the improvement from Odobert?” Um…am I misremembering how shit he was before or something?

Feels like clutching at straws rn.

Um, Berbatov and Keane were elite. Crouch with VDV behind was pretty useful too. Plus odd years with Asebayor/Kanoute types were good and of course Defoe.

(And no - please do not try to make Johnson etc number 9. That would be absolutely horrible. Maybe 20 years ago with a partner).

Always thought it was weird how it was a kinda fun, cartoony skull, not sinister or starkly symbolic or anything.

I wonder if something looking kinda cartoony had very modern or futuristic vibes back then.
