Came here to say exactly this. withholding the context looks like an attempt to paint dershowitz as an objective legal expert. With that framing it makes the article look like an attempt to get the public to expect nothing and be fine with it because an objective expert said there's nothing there.

I wouldn't count on UN involvement helping much. The govt has been ignoring them when they call us out for decades. Beyond record keeping, unless we enforce their decisions domestically there's not much they can do.
