Not really. “Most successful” is a question of judgement, “winningest” is a statement of fact

That does not actually specify that the person in question has won the most. Is a 10 time silver medalist more successful than a 4 time gold medalist?

Do you know a less clumsy adjectival phrase? I really don’t see a huge difference between “Bob bobson is the winningest skier in Olympic history” and “Bob bobson is the skier who has won the most in Olympic history”

Do you know another word that means the same thing?

I imagine that even if you want to pay for them, it’s hard to get large amounts of trained extras outside of NY/LA/London

I am very annoyed that people think 'rich' means 'that guy has a mercedes and takes a vacation to italy once a year' and not 'that guy has more money than 40% of the world combined and can decide to start or stop wars based on his personal prejudices'

I hate to break it to you, but both critics and the long term Bethesda player base really liked base building, even if they didn’t like the games. It’s going nowhere

Not saying you’re wrong about it critically, just that those elements are pretty popular with their player base, and they’re very monetizable

I think you’re gonna be disappointed if you think this means they’re moving away from base/ship building and/or life sim stuff

They had to fight tooth and nail to get production budgets on every single DA game after the first, got served with an 16 month schedule for 2, were forced to use Frostbite for DAI (an engine so ill-suited they had to program stats, saving, and cutscenes/conversations themselves), forced to DAI

I can’t even imagine what it must feel like for Mike Laidlaw or David Gaider. Especially after seeing BG3 come out and be feted like a sea change in RPG history. I like BG3, but it’s no BG2 or DAO or DAI

Which is why Whedon and Gunn succeed where their imitators fail. Say what you will about either dude, but they aren’t afraid of their characters having real friction with each other

The internal view of the whole series is baffling. It’s their biggest selling series by a mile (DAI almost outsold the Mass Effect trilogy combined), but both studio leadership and EA treated it as a redheaded step child compared to ME
