This sounds good - an enzyme that can break down plastic into constituent parts that can be reused. Even better - it has already been proven to work at scale. But at the moment those reusable parts are much more expensive than plastic ingredients from fossil fuels.

If hydrogen becomes an alternative for jet fuel, how would that actually work at an airport? To be any use it has to be kept at a chilly minus 253C. Given half a chance liquid hydrogen will "boil off" and become a hazard. More here if you like.
