The thing that bothers me about "Cozy horror" outside of any taxonomy and on a personal level is that I honestly find a lot of comfort in horror as is, even with some of the more extreme subgenres. There's something reassuring and cathartic about acknowledging darker themes, if that makes sense? 🎃

Kota Hoshino of From Software has such a unique sound and I really love most of the Armored Core vocal tracks from the series catalogue. I like a lot of 6's, but the main versions of tracks just kinda can't keep up with the more album feel of the third disc of its ost.

"From Beyond the Viveil" maybe?
