Even though it wasn't perfect (and there's really only so much an EO can do), it was a relief to see some federal action on safety and security in AI and also inspiring to be in the room with so many people who care about AI ethics. 😥

“'Female' means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell."
Since all fetuses "at conception" are female, Trump just defined EVERYONE as female.
These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.
