Absolutely a failure for BC Ferries, this ferry just came back (less than 2 weeks) from annual refit over the winter months. Mobility challenged customers that are going for urgent medical reasons are impacted.

A notice saying that the Northern Adventure Ferry, that travels in between Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii, has no accessible services in between the car and passenger decks. If you require a mobility aid (wheel chair, walkers/canes) or are recovering from surgery or you have no way of walking up the stairs, you cannot ride the ferry until further notice
If you've ever had to travel on the ferry to Haida Gwaii, you know the # of stairs it takes to get to the passenger decks/cabins. Now there is no lift or stair chair available & no eta for repair. For people on medical/need assistance, it's a terrible situation π©
