So I've been off bluesky for the better part of a week, letting my mental health even out a bit, and I've decided that I'm on the hunt for big strong hugs this season. Like, weighed blanket hugs. That's gonna solve everything.

Got stressed and stayed off of socials for a couple days. Got my hair cut to appease the mental health gods. Is this self care?

I love living in a city full of immigrants and tons and tons of people who are not at all like me and not like each other. It makes us all better and it makes our city better. I've been seeing a rotation of Northwestern residents. It's been great because they're all young, fresh faced, bushy tailed, and still willing to listen and try to figure out problems unlike their more seasoned counterparts.
