LA Metro stations are getting pop-up metal detectors. They set them up for a few days and then take them down and move on to another station. I passed through one this week and there were maybe 14-18 security officers, when usually I see 2 or less.

The Pomona North station looks ready to open. A bored Sheriff’s Deputy was parked at the other entrance so I couldn’t sneak on the platform.
