Such a beautiful almost full moon tonight. A reminder that, despite all of the hard things in life, there is beauty in the world around us.

They certainly are invasive - especially considering how they have taken over places where once native plants grew freely.

This is one of my favourite pictures of sunset in Parksville a few summers ago. I still go back to it because it reminds me that this world is still filled with so much beauty - even in the midst of heavy or dark days.

Even in Canada, and with dual health insurance, this is an issue. Month to month it is shocking how much medical care costs (and what is not covered). I was not prepared for how expensive being disabled is. Nor the fact that I would be classified as “disabled.”

Thank you for taking the time to untangle the issues that have led to the dysfunction in Kamloops’ council. It has been exasperating to follow the happenings from within the city, and to ultimately foot the bill as a taxpayer.

Good call! I always leave the peels on - even for pies and crisp. And definitely for apple sauce. There’s too much nutrient value in those peels!

Cheater focaccia using bread dough that has been stored in the fridge for a week to give it a fermented sourdough taste. Baked in a Dutch oven. Sunday funday - cooking and baking fill my cup. 🍽️
