I'll investigate! Could probably do with some more comprehensive allergy testing generally as I know I have low level reactions to lots of things but aren't clear on all of them.

I had reactions in childhood but not sure if genuine allergy, and I know a lot of people grow out of it. Avoiding penicillin making a lot of things harder rn so don't want to be doing it unnecessarily.

Do you need therapy or do you just need a world that isn’t actively trying to kill you?

Have any of you (especially NZ people) been tested to see if you're definitely/still allergic to penicillin? Is it as simple as just a blood test via GP?

I've read some really interesting stuff about how what accessibility is prioritised in the US is skewed by the involvement of Vietnam veterans with spinal injuries in campaigning for the ADA - young men w (often) energy and upper body strength. Good news: I "staged a sit in" (sat in the waiting room) at the new After Hours and they were pleasant, didn't take unreasonably long, and gave me the prescription I urgently needed. No drama. I'm out more money than I'd like but otherwise very relieved.

Just had a hellish morning trying unsuccessfully to use online GPs, am down at least $80 and possibly $240 and have been banned from one service and still have no prescription.

Well the online doctors cancelled my appointment and won't refund me so I'm off to ramraid a pharmacy.
