Next time I think my panel isn't good enough I will remember the Otakon ChatGPT panels and think "at least I didn't need computer to write it for me"

I agree that this is a good idea, at least as some kind of deterrent.

All this chatter about panelists brazenly using ChatGPT or some such other slop generators in their Otakon panels, I'm happy to tap my own sign again.

@thegreatsg.bsky.social Just want to say that the Ugly Giant Robots Arbitrarily Ranked panel was my favorite from all of Otakon. The PowerPoint alone was hilarious, but I was entertained the whole way through. I really hope to see it again sometime!

My mother was basically like, "you get four years and then you're on your own". And that was with some hefty student loans as the "college fund" was nowhere near enough to cover. I consider myself lucky I was able to cover undergrad, and this was at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

Same here. Just a bachelor’s…was genuinely afraid of taking out any more loans. I’m in a good place now so that decision worked out in the end.
