I built a Fluttershy group hug deck that buffs the table, plays pacifist, and then Fogs combats to prevent people from hurting each other (be nice!) I get everyone to like me and then they beg me to play kingmaker for them at the end. It actually won off Felidar Sovereign without ever attacking lol.

edh is ok, but i want my 60 card duels back. its more competitive when there is less variance. and half the people are like "here is my X tribal deck" which is boring. I'd prefer pauper as my type 1 format.

that's always ideal. i tend to only pick up one or two cheap ones per set, max. haven't been to an event in many months. nobody was showing up for modern (i was playing jank Braids+ SmallPox) and now its mh3 block. the game is just edh. zzzzzz

i love magic but its just so cooked with all the universes beyond and absurd power creep. I'm very disappointed what they've done to standard, modern, legacy, even edh. I've sold a lot of my collection and only keeping a few decks. still lots of bulk to list though... eventually

like, descend and revolt are almost the same thing. also collect evidence and delve. some keywords feel like they're being put in the game just for the sake of having a new one in every set. its already a lot to keep track of for new players, they could stand to slow down on that.

going back to old planes is fine when its done right (unlike karlov manor), but we probably don't need all these remastered sets, and sometimes it feels bland (return to ixalan)
